Mardi Time!

It's about that time here in NOLA where the crewes are all set up to roll, the school holiday is right around the corner, and the smell of King Cakes fill the air. Mardi Gras is a unique time in New Orleans where everyone just takes a load off to sit back and relax...KIDDING! Mardi Gras is probably the biggest PARDI in America!

However, due to my upcoming conference meet (we leave Tuesday-EEK!) I will be staying inside to admire the holiday from a far for now. I got my first taste of Mardi Gras spirit on Wednesday when I headed to do a little boutique shopping with my friend Molly off of Magazine Street. We arrived only to find the street blocked off by the Thoth crew on a practice run! So not only did we shop, but we also got some great beads in the process!

We picked up some really cute tee-shirts from Jean Therapy to get our MG spirit flowing and even came across a new find-Blue Jeans Bar! The girls who work there were just the sweetest things. I plan to go back really soon. I am officially obsessed!
